Next year we will send you out as first engineering graduates of FUOYE. With the kind of training, exposure and the way the Faculty is driving you, I am sure you will make us proud.” The above is an excerpt from a speech delivered by the Vice Chancellor, Federal University ye-Ekiti, Professor Isaac U. Asuzu, at the presentation of certificates to FUOYE Mechatronics Engineering students who attended an Autotronics course at the Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN). Drawing from an existing Memorandum of Understanding with PAN, 4th year students of Mechatronics Engineering in the Department of Mechanical /Mechatronics, undertook a week-long practical training trip to Peugeot Assembly Plant, Kaduna, for this Autotronics course.
