| Abstract: | Nucleation and growth processes in metals with particular reference to austenite
formation and decomposition, discontinuous precipitation, particle coarsening,
martensitic transformation. Detailed heat treatment of special important commercial
materials especially bearing steels, aluminium alloys, titanium alloys, nickel based
alloys, high strength low alloy steel and stainless steels. |
