Title: | DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A MOSQUITO REPELLING ROBOT USING ULTRASONIC SOUND |
Authors: | OJIMIWE, SIMEON OSUYA |
Issue Date: | Nov-2017 |
Abstract: | THE MOSQUITO REPELLING ROBOT USING ULTRASONIC SOUND IS DEVELOPED TO ERADICATE THE SEEMINGLY UNSTOPPABLE MENACE CAUSED BY THE MOST DEADLY ANIMALS "MOSQUITOES". THIS ROBOT IS DESIGNED TO BE ECO-FRIENDLY WITH NO HARMFUL EFFECTS TO MAN, IT OPERATESON BATTERY WHICH CAN BE RECHARGED BY EITHER ELECTRICITY OR SOLAR POWER AND WORKS AUTONOMOUSLY DUE TO THE FACT THAT IS CONTROLLED BY A MICROPROCESSOR AND RECEIVES INPUT SIGNALS FROM SOLAR PANEL, ULTRASONIC SENSOR AND THE PIR SENSOR TO DETECT TO DETECT IF THERE IS OBSTRUCTION IN ITS WORKING RANGE |
