Abstract: The aim of the study was to examine the impact of in-service training and staff development on perceived job performance among health workers in Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti.The study adopted a cross-sectional research design, which involved the use of semi-structured questionnaire containing information to measurehealth workers in-service training and staff development on their job performance. Four hypotheses were tested through the use of an Instrument in deriving information from participants.
Description: According to World Health Organization (W.H.O) (2007), health system consists of all organizations, people and actions whose primary intent is to promote, restore or maintain health and it is made up of six building blocks namely; service delivery; health workforce; information; medical products, vaccines and technologies; financing; leadership and governance (stewardship) W.H.O (2007).
